Joe Pete

Joe Pete, 68, of Kasota, formerly of Cordova died on Sunday, April 5, 2020 at his home. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020 at 5pm at the Nativity Church of Cleveland.

Joe was born on September 26, 1951 in St. Peter to Nicholas and Joyce (Merritt) Pete. Joe attended McKinley High School in Le Center. Joe was united in marriage to Sandra Nanette Green in West Plains, MO on January 7, 1974. He was a carpenter and worked for 30 years in Le Center.

Joseph is survived by his children, Tina (Terry) Schloesser of Le Center, Sandra (Douglas) Perkins of Le Center, Joseph Pete of Mankato, Susan (Scott) Hofbauer of Kasota, Viola (Gilberto) Figueroa of Le Center, Mary (Jose) Hernandez of Le Center, Nicholas (Heidi) Pete of Riceville, IA, Andrew (Alishia) Pete of Kasota, and Leo (Mandy) Pete of Kasota; grandchildren, Alisha, and Molly Schloesser, Cauy Perkins, Brandon, Cody, Bianca, and Kailey Hernandez. Cassandra, Adriana, Briana, Valeria, and Marcus Figueroa, Sandra and Jose Hernandez, Alisha and Destiny Pete, Danielle and Andrew Pete Jr.; great-granddaughter, Adalyn; siblings, Dave Pete of Belchester, Joyce (Brandon) Kolb of Rochester, and Tony (Nichol) Pete of Mountain Lake.

Joe is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra; son, William (Bill) Pete; daughter, Grace Pete; his parents; 3 brothers, Leonard, Robert, and Nicholas
