John George Jindra

John George Jindra, 54, of Le Center, died January 7, 2022, at his home. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 17 from 9am-10am at St. Marys Catholic Church in Le Center with Mass of Christian Burial at 10am. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Kilkenny.

John was born on November 10, 1967 in Faribault to George F. and Marian (Holey) Jindra. He was a graduate of Le Center High School. He worked as a custodian for Carlton College for 18 years before working at Maud Borup Group in Le Center this past year. John was a member of the International Union of Operating engineers and was also a proud member of the Sons of the American Legion. He loved bowling, playing pool and enjoyed playing poker at the Legion Club in Le Center.

John is survived by his son, Ian Jindra of Le Center; sister-in-law, Lori Jindra; nephews, Chris Jindra of Le Center and Mike Jindra (Melinda and Riley) of Montgomery; niece, Caitlin Jindra; and also many aunts, uncles and cousins.

John is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Tom Jindra and George R. Jindra; grandparents, George T. and Anna Jindra and Raymond and Anna Holey.
