Kathleen Margaret Tiede

Kathleen Margaret Tiede, 73, of Montgomery, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at her home in Montgomery. Visitation will be Saturday, March 2 from 9 am to 11 am at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery, with Mass of Christian Burial following at 11 am. Burial will be at a later date.

Kathy was born on November 25, 1945 in St Peter to Claire and Fances (Simonette) Thomas. Kathy attended Cleveland High School. Kathy was united in marriage to Leonard “Lenny” Tiede on February 16, 1963 in The Cleveland at Church of Nativity. Kathy was a homemaker of 22 years, worked at Brinktons in Le Center and also worked at a meat market for 14 years. Kathy enjoyed camping, fishing, snowmobiling, socializing, and playing cards with friends.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Leonard “Lenny” Tiede of Montgomery; children, Lisa Beverly of Jacksonville, FL, Steve (Julie) Tiede of Montgomery, Randy (Renee) Tiede of Atlanta, GA, and Michaelle (Jerry) Herrmann of Mankato; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Pat (Harold) Hobday of St. Peter, and Janet (Roger) Krenik of Mankato.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents; step mom, Lorraine Thomas; brothers, Jim Thomas, and Jerry Thomas; sisters, Mary Couglin, Ruth Leighton, Joan Glynn, and Rita Minars.
