Kathryn C. Hoey

Kathryn C. Hoey, 99, of Le Center, died Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Comfort Residence in Le Sueur. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 9, 2017 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Le Center Funeral Home in Le Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 10 at 10 a.m. at St. Henry Catholic Church in rural Le Sueur with visitation one hour prior at the church. Interment will be in St. Henry Cemetery. Luncheon will follow at the St. Henry Social Hall.

Kathryn was born on October 24, 1917 in Oshawa Township, MN to Andrew and Elizabeth (Holmes) Miller. Kathryn was a St. Peter High School graduate. Kathryn worked at Spors in Le Center before her marriage to Ralph Hoey on June 30, 1941 in St. Peter. Kathryn and her husband raised their family and she later worked as a teacher's aide for the Le Center school.

Kathryn is survived by her children, Jan LeMieux of Anoka, Rick (Chrit) Hoey of Le Center, Leanne (Bill) Tyrrell of Elk River, and Kathy (Dave) Jungquist of Minneapolis; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Kathryn is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Hoey; sons, Dennis and Tom; parents, and 6 siblings.
