Lavon Margaret Ellen Kamper

LaVon Margaret Ellen Kamper, 89, of Le Center passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 from 9 am to 10 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Le Center. Funeral services will also be on Wednesday at 10 am also at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Le Center. Burial will be at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Jordan at a later date.
LaVon was born on September 5, 1924 in Clarion, Iowa to David and Esther (Keough) Roach. She graduated from Clarion High School. Was united in marriage to Robert Walter Kamper in Chicago Illinois in 1949. LaVon worked for MPL Company for 30 years.
She was 100% Irish, a blood donor to Red Cross 2 times a year since age 18, she had a very strong faith, loved her family, friends and enjoyed traveling, bingo, golf and walking.
LaVon is survived by daughters; Jeanine Marie Crowe O.S.F. of Le Center and Barbara Kamper (George Raeske) of Canton Michigan, 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, sister Jean Tostensen of Albert Lea and brother Gerald Roach of Gardenia, California
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Robert Walter Kamper.
