Lawrence Beer

Lawrence "Larry" Beer, age 67 of Mound, died Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at his home. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 28 from 9am to 10am at the Le Center Funeral Home in Le Center. Funeral Service will follow at 10am at the funeral home with Father Chris Shofner officiating Interment will be at St. Henry Cemetery in St. Henry.

Larry was born on February 13, 1951 in Le Center to Leonard and Delores (Riebel) Beer. He was a graduate from McKinley High School in Le Center and Dunwoody Institute where he studied to become an electrician. He was united in marriage to Carol Herigs on November 8, 1975 in South Dakota and together had one son, Justin Lawrence Beer.

He was remarried to Elizabeth "Liz" Johnson in 1982 and lived in Mound. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and gardening.

Larry is survived by mother, Delores Beer (Dolly) of Le Center; son, Justin Beer of Casper, WY.; siblings, Carol Kaderlik of Shieldsville, Anne (Mike) Adkins of Shakopee, Tom (Mariane) Beer of Le Center, and Robert (Lisa) Beer of Le Center.

Larry is preceded in death by wife, Liz Beer; father, Leonard Beer; brother, Richard in infancy; and brother-in-law, Chuck Kaderlik.
