Leona Katherine Winterfeldt

Leona Katherine Winterfeldt, age 72, of Montgomery, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Traditions in Montgomery. Visitation will be on Friday, August 1, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Montgomery. Funeral service will also be Friday, August 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. also at St. John Lutheran Church in Montgomery. Burial will be at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Montgomery.
Leona was born to Francis and Thirza (Butler) Fiddler in Wells on September 10, 1941. She was united in marriage to Alvin Winterfeldt on May 18, 1962. She worked at the Faribault State School.
She enjoyed crafting, reading, collecting cardinals and frogs and visiting with friends.
Leona is survived by her husband, Alvin Winterfeldt; daughters, Linda (Kevin) Keilen of Faribault and Cynthia (Ruben) Navejas of Montgomery; grandchildren; Nathan (Amy) Keilen, Joseph Keilen, Matthew Gallagher, Bianca Serna, Michaela Navejas and Nickolas Navejas; 6 soon to be 7 great-grandchildren and sister, Phyllis Johnson of Faribault.
Preceded in death by, her parents; husbands parents, sister, Mary Meech; and grandson, Jonathan Keilen.
