Lillian (Lill) Hlavac, 95, of Montgomery, passed away at Golden Years Home in Montgomery on Sunday, January 21, 2018. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, January 24 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery, with visitation 1 hour prior beginning at 9:30 am. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery.
Lill was born on November 24, 1922 at home in Scott County to Frank and Rose (Havlicek) Sticha. Lill was united in marriage to William Hlavac on November 28, 1941 in Veseli. Lill had worked as a homemaker, at Green Giant in Montgomery, Brinktons in Le Center, and United Steel in Montgomery. Lill had also enjoyed working in her flower gardens.
Lill is survived by her children, Bill (Bonnee) Hlavac of Montgomery, Don (Therese) Hlavac of Heidelberg, and Jim (Nancy) Hlavac of Faribault; 11 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchild; 2 step great-great grandchildren; son-in-law, Dick Peroutka of Montgomery, and sister-in-law, Betty Sticha of New Prague, and Bernadine Sticha of New Prague.
Lill is preceded in death by her husband, William Hlavac; daughters, Gloria Dickie, and Kathy Peroutka; sisters, Rose Turek, and Mary Sticha; brothers, Jim Sticha, and Frank Sticha.
