Linda L. Skluzacek, 60, of Montgomery passed away on January 14, 2015 at her home in Montgomery surrounded by her loving husband, children and sister after a courageous battle with cancer. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2015 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 19, 2015 at 1 p.m. the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery with visitation one hour prior.
Linda was born on September 11, 1954 in Hialeah, Florida to Anthony and June (Renzelman) Talarczyk. She grew up in Bloomington and graduated from Lincoln High School class of 1972 in Bloomington. She was united in marriage to Lloyd G. Skluzacek on May 8, 1976 at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery. She worked at Washa's Department Store, Skluzacek Oil and was owner of Our Gang Video in Montgomery. She enjoyed antiquing, her artwork and crafts, bird watching and most of all, she enjoyed her children and grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Lloyd Skluzacek of Montgomery; children, Tony (Dawn) Skluzacek of Montgomery, Lynnette (Dave) Eckblad of St. Peter, Sarah (Eric) Schlangen of St. Joseph and Lloyd J. (Shannon) Skluzacek of Mankato; 5 grandchildren and 6 step-grandchildren; siblings, Christine (John) Andersen of Salem, Utah and Anthony (Amy) Talarczyk of Vicksburg, Mississippi; sister-in-law, Ann Talarczyk of San Antonio, Texas; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Harry Talarczyk and Wayne Talarczyk.
