Lorraine B. Turek

Lorraine B. Turek, age 91 of Montgomery, died Monday, September 11, 2017 at Mala Strana Health Care Center in New Prague. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 19 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 20 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery, with visitation 1 hour prior at the church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery.

Lorraine was born on January 6, 1926 in Erin Township on the family farm to Thomas and Rose (Filipek) Snorek. Lorraine was united in marriage to Bohumil "Bo" Turek at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery. Lorraine worked as a seamstress for Munsingware in Montgomery for many years. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting, and was a devout Christian.

Lorraine is survived by her children, Leonard (Mary) Turek of Lonsdale, Sharon (Kerry) Johnson of Monticello, and Steven (Diana) Turek of Montgomery; grandchildren, Heather (Larry) Kolarik, Nicole Turek, Jason (Jessica) Turek, and Rachel (fianc�, Rob Markland) Turek; great-grandchildren, Haley Stevens, Wyatt Markland, and Lilly "Dolly" Turek; siblings, Eleanor Tupy of Bloomington, Robert Snorek of Montgomery, Ivan (Rosie) Snorek of Owatonna, and Alvin (Diane) Snorek of Owatonna; and many other relatives and friends.

Lorraine is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bohumil in 2008; brother-in-law, Alvin Tupy, and sister-in-law, Rita Snorek.
