Lucille E. Hankins

Lucille E. Hankins, age 82 of Cleveland, MN passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 26 from 8am-10am at the Church of the Nativity in Cleveland, MN with Mass of Christian Burial at 10am with Father James Styles officiating. Interment will be held in the Calvary (Scotch Lake) Cemetery.

Lucille was born on November 27, 1938 in Rockford, Iowa to Gilbert and Eva (Smith) Toebe. She was a graduate of Charles City High School in Iowa. Lucille was united in marriage to John R. Johnson on November 22, 1958 until he passed in June of 1979. Lucille was then united in marriage to William Hankins on June 30, 1982 in Cleveland, MN.

Lucille enjoyed, fishing - summers and winters, especially on Leach Lake and Mille Lacs Lake, golfing with the gang on Sundays, winters in Florida with family and friends, playing card games, and flowers, traveling with Bill and friends around the US, but most of all spending time with her family!

Lucille is survived by husband, Bill Hankins; children, Sandra (Frank) Fernandez of Orlando, FL., and Debra Johnson of Farmington, MN; stepsons, Bob (Lori) Hankins of Belle Plaine, MN and Tom (Sharleen) Hankins of Waterville, MN; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren; brother, Dean (Doris) Toebe of Charles City, Iowa.

Lucille is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, John; son John Johnson; 3 sisters, and 1 brother.
