Ludmilla Stacia Grimm, age 85, of Montgomery, died Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Visitation will be on Friday, January 4, 2013 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery. Funeral will be also on Friday, January 4 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery. Burial will be at Trebon Cemetery in Sheildsville.
Ludmilla was born on June 25, 1927 in Rice County to Joseph and Catherine (Velishek) Novak. She was united in marriage to Burton Grimm on March 17, 1951 at Ft. Rucker, Alabama. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, baking, cooking big meals for family, spending time with children, grand and great-grandchildren and siblings.
She is survived by children; Don (and Lorna) Grimm of Custer, SD., Diane (and Cary) Blank of Le Center, Carol (and Gary) Pelowski of Le Center, Darlene Filan of Montgomery, Jeff Grimm of Montgomery, Steve (and Mona) Grimm of Montgomery, Bruce (and Tara) Grimm of Arlington, and Regina (and Dave) Deutsch of New Prague, 29 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, siblings; Clayton (and Sharon) Novak of Montgomery, Wally (and Kathy) Novak of Montgomery, Calvin (and Pat) Novak of Faribault, Robert (and Renee) Novak of Montgomery and Kathy (and Don) Eustice of Faribault, sister-in-laws; Jan Novak of Medford and Betty Novak of Faribault, brother-in-law Bob Peterson of Faribault.
Ludmilla is preceded in death by her husband Burton, her parents, grandson Jonathan Miller, brothers Joe Novak and Milo Novak, sisters Gloria (and Delbert) Hassler, Pat Peterson and Mildred and Delores Novak in infancy.
