Mabel M. Hallock

Mabel M. Hallock, age 99, formerly of Le Center and Montgomery, died Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Central Health Care Center in Le Center. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 9 from 10:00 � 11:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Montgomery. Funeral Service will be on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at Bohemian National Cemetery in Montgomery.
Mabel was born to John and Lena (Vollmer) Ballman in Cordova Township of Le Sueur County, MN on September 6, 1915. She attended Rural School Districts 52 and 13. She married Emil Holey in 1955, and together they lived on farm outside of Le Center until later moving to Montgomery. After Emil's death, Mabel later married Lucius Hallock in 1991. She was an active member of the Senior Citizens Group of Montgomery for many years.
Mabel is survived by her sister, Frances Bahl of Winona; sister-in-law, Lorraine Ballman of Le Center; step-daughter, Dorothy Binstock of Salt Lake City, Utah; and 10 nieces & nephews in Minnesota & Illinois.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Emil Holey; second husband, Lucius Hallock; parents; four brothers, Raymond, Gordon, Leonard and John Ballman; and sister, Beatrice Herrick.
Arrangements are with Schoenbauer Funeral Home of Montgomery.
