Magdalene Ballman

Magdalene (Maca) Ballman, 94, from Le Center passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014 at Mala Strana Health Care in New Prague. Visitation will be Monday, April 21, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Le Center. Mass of Christian burial will also be on Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Le Center.
Magdalene was born November 17, 1919 in Le Center to Charles and Mary Catherine (Hejl) Maca. She graduated from McKinley High School in Le Center in 1938 and also teachers training school in Mankato. She was a teacher and taught in Le Sueur, St. Henry, Cleveland and Le Center Elementary School. She was united in marriage to Leonard Bellman on August 17, 1973 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Le Center.
She is survived by Nieces and Nephews and their families Leonard\'s daughters, Janice (Larry) Woitas and Judy Ballman and their families. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard Ballman; siblings, Genevieve Srnec, Elsie in childhood, Charles Maca Jr., Gerard Maca and SR. Charles Mary CSJ (Mildred).
Memorials are preferred to St. Mary\'s Catholic Church in lieu of flowers.
