Margaret Alice (Struthers) Schultz

Margaret Alice (Struthers) Schultz, 85 of Le Center, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Benedictine Center in St. Peter. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Le Center. Funeral service will also be held on Thursday, March 26, at 11 a.m. also at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Blue Grass Cemetery in Le Center.

Margaret was born January 27, 1930, in Lake Crystal to Harold and Ethel (Griffith) Weldon. She worked at Blue Lilly Farms in Le Center, Golden Choices as a Health care attendant and also Winco. She enjoyed bird watching, flower gardening, sewing, collecting American Indian keepsakes and loved eagles and spoiling her grandchildren.

Margaret is survived by children, Jean (Russ) Harkins of Le Center, Karen (Ron) Schmidt of Le Center and David Schultz of Missouri; 12 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Gwen) Weldon of St. Peter; and sister-in-law, Rose Weldon of Le Center.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Meryl Schultz; son, Gerald as an infant; parents; brothers, Robert and LeRoy; and sister, Lois Kruger.
