Margaret Mary (Moore) Lawson

Margaret Mary (Moore) Lawson, age 87 of Montgomery, died Monday, December 26, 2016 at her home in Montgomery. Visitation will be on Monday, January 2, 2017 from 9am to 11am at St. John Lutheran Church in Montgomery. Memorial service will follow at 11am with Pastor Jason officiating. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John Lutheran Church.

Margaret was born on January 29, 1929 in Ham Lake to Charles and Hope (Ahlberg) Moore. She was a graduate of Anoka High School in Anoka. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Lawson on October 15, 1949 and were married 46 years until his death. Margaret worked at various places including Anoka Abstract Office, Atty. Cutten in Anoka, Pioneer Engineering in Minneapolis, Clover Leaf Creamery � Montgomery Dairy and Clover Sweet Shop in Montgomery. She enjoyed crocheting, traveling, playing golf and bingo.

Margaret is survived by her children, Dana (Cindy) Lawson, Jerel "Jake" Lawson, and Paula (Bill) Jones; brother, Ronald Moore; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Lawson; parents; sister, Ruth Moore; sisters-in-law, Donna Faymoville, Mavis Lawson, and Mary Ann Moore.
