Marjorie "Peggy" Dorothy Malinski

Marjorie "Peggy" Dorothy Malinski, age 77 of Le Center died Saturday, October 29, 2016, at Mala Strana Health Care in New Prague. Mass of Christian burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Le Center on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 10:00 am with Fr. Chris Shofner officiating. Visitation will be held at the Le Center Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 2, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and one hour prior to Mass at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Lexington.

Peggy was born on February 28, 1939 in Belle Plaine to Morris and Emma (Schipret) Savage. Peggy was united in marriage to Martin "Sal" Malinski in Belle Plaine on June 30, 1956. She worked for ADC in Le Sueur for 20 years and also Munsingwear in Montgomery sewing clothing.

Peggy loved sewing, knitting, crocheting, baking, and cooking for the family especially biscuits for every holiday with family fighting over them, traveling, and going to different casinos.

Peggy is survived by children, Maureen (Tim) Blaschko of Le Center, Robert (Priscilla) Malinski of Le Center, Marty Malinski of Cave Creek, AZ (special friend, Kim McDermott), Joanne "Annie" (Rich) Kopet of Le Center, John Malinski of Le Center, Brian (Jennifer) Malinski of Buffalo, and Jennifer (Dallas "Dale") Russell of Buffalo; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings, Betty Neisen, and George (Helen) Savage; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Peggy is preceded in death by, her parents; husband Martin "Sal"; daughter, Theresa Malinski; grandson, Nathaniel Malinski; brothers and sisters.
