Marlin (Marley) Gerard Krenik

Marlin Gerard Krenik, 68, of Le Center, died on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at St. Benedictine Living Community in St. Peter. Visitation will be on Saturday, May 18 from 9am to 10am at the Le Center Funeral Home in Le Center with Celebration of Life at 10am also at the Le Center Funeral Home with Father James Stiles officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Le Center.

Marlin (Marley) was born on September 22, 1950 to Benjamin and Martha (Wieland) Krenik in St. Peter. He grew up in Le Center and graduated from Le Center High School in 1968. After his graduation, he worked at WINCO and in recent years for Nicollet County at the Court House in St. Peter. He was united in marriage to Kathleen Braun on July 30, 1982. Kathy died in 2015. He enjoyed the company from their beloved dogs and going fishing. Marley suffered from complications of epilepsy and diabetes the past couple of years and moved to St. Peter to assisted living and then to his current residence at the St. Benedictine Living Community.

Marley is survived by brothers, Thomas (Shirley) Krenik of Elysian and Walter (Iris) Krenik of Cleveland; sister-in-law, Janet Krenik; several nieces and nephews.

Marley was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Kathleen; siblings, Darlene Lodge, Jane Krenik, and Roger Krenik; and brother-in-law, Richard Lodge.
