Marqineta 'Keta' Hogan

Marqineta "Keta" L. Hogan, age 58 of Le Center, died Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Mason City, Iowa. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday March 16 at the Le Center Funeral Home. Fr. Chris Shofner will officiate the service. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Le Center.

Marqineta was born on January 18, 1958 to Louis and Eleanor (Jackson) Hogan in Rockford, Illinois. She graduated from Waterville, Elysian, and Morristown High School in 1978. She attended Rasmussen College in Mankato. She worked for Onan in St. Peter and then later at Care in Burnsville. She loved spending time with her granddaughter and family. She enjoyed playing board and card games with her father.

Marqineta is survived by her mother, Eleanor Hogan; daughter, Rebecca (fianc�, Ryan Deutchman) Hogan of Forest City, IA; goddaughter, Joleen "Jo" Hogan of Le Center; granddaughter, Emily Forbrook; siblings, Gayle (Debbie) Hogan of Waterville, Curtis (Lois) Hogan of Waterville, Douglas Hogan of Leland, IA, Teresa (Gregory) Goettl of Le Center, Melvin (Doreen) Hogan of Le Center, and Kevin (Carol) Hogan of Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, Louis Hogan and granddaughter, Kara Louise Hogan.
