Martha A. Paur

Martha A Paur, age 78 of Kilkenny, died peacefully at her home on Sunday, August 30th, 2020. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 4th, 2020. Visitations held 2 hours before Mass at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery from 8:30-10:30am and Mass to follow at 10:30 with Fr. Tom Niehaus officiating. Burial at Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery. There will be a luncheon at noon at the American Legion in Montgomery after the burial.

Martha was born on July 8th, 1942 to Tom and Martha (Franek) Schoenbauer at their home in New Prague. Martha was united in marriage to John Paur in New Prague on May 12th, 1962. She worked at the New Prague Hospital as a cook for many years. Martha also worked at the American Legion as a cook in Montgomery for 6-7 years.

Martha enjoyed spending time with her husband and family. She also enjoyed playing cards, playing games and going out to eat with friends and family. She also enjoyed spending her time gardening and cooking.

Martha is survived by her husband, John of Kilkenny; their children, Kevin (LaVonne) Paur of New Prague, Carol (Doug) Fronk of Gilbert, AZ, Brian (Julie) Paur of New Prague, Alan Paur of New Prague, and Shawn Paur of Kilkenny; grandchildren, Lauren and Logan; siblings, Delores (Roger) Poohl of Osage, IA, Tom (Jeanne) Schoenbauer of Faribault, Yvette (Greg) Goodrich of Blue Earth, and Marilyn (Paul) Hentges of Jordan; brother-in-law, Val Pink of Shakopee.

Martha is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marge Pink; brother-in-law, Harold Heil; sister-in-law, Irene Heil.
