Mary Ann Alys Meidlinger

Mary Ann Alys Meidlinger, 86, of Le Center, died Friday, December 26, 2014, at the Northfield Care Center with family by her side. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 6 p.m. at Northfield Care Center chapel in Northfield.
Mary Ann was born December 14, 1928 in St. Paul to Ralph and Alice Reeves. She graduated from Harding High School in St. Paul. She married Arthur (A.J.) Meidlinger on May 14, 1949. Mary Ann was very active in church activities. She was known by family and friends as a great cook and by always being very hospitable. Mary Ann was co-founder of Armar Corporation. After starting retirement Mary Ann and A.J. spent their winters in Arizona and their summers in Minnesota. About 8 years ago she suffered a stroke which confined her to a wheel chair. She then moved into the Northfield Care Center. While she was there she enjoyed playing bingo.
She is survived by her children, Bruce (Debbie) of Le Center, Mark (Darcy) of San Tan Valley, Az., Roger (Sally), of St. Paul, Gary of Le Center, Margie (Mark) of Le Center; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Carol Bullman of St. Paul and many relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A.J.; her parents, 3 brothers; 7 sisters and 2 grandchildren.
