Mary Ann Edel

Mary Ann Edel age 90, of Montgomery, died Sunday, December 18, 2016. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. with father Dave Barrett officiating. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery.

Mary was born on December 23, 1925 in New Prague to Jacob and Ann (Schoenbauer) Komarek. Mary was a graduate of Montgomery High School, College of St. Catherine in St. Paul and St. Mary's School of Nursing. Mary was united in marriage to Leonard "Tony" Edel. She was a registered nurse for the Montgomery Family Medical Clinic.

Mary is survived by daughters, Pat (Roy) Ferguson of Aurora, Co., and Peg (Jerry Fisher) Edel of Descanso, CA; nieces, Mary Catherine, and Jenny (Bill Brunk); nephews, Chris Komarek (Cheri), and Peter Komerek (Christine).

Mary is preceded in death by parents; husband, Tony; son, Steve Edel, and brother, Bob (Lois) Komarek.
