Mary Jean 'Minnie' Hunt

Mary Jean “Minnie” Hunt, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 in Rochester. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 23 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at St. Marys Catholic Church in Le Center. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. with Father Tim Sandquist officiating. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Le Center.

Mary Jean was born on May 9, 1943 in St. Peter to Michael J. and Mary C. (Sheehy) Hunt. Mary Jean was a Le Center VFW Auxiliary Life Member. Mary Jean enjoyed being with kids, playing bingo, going to the casino, eating sweets, and was an Elvis Presley fan.

Mary Jean is survived by siblings, James (Louise) Hunt of Baxter, and Katie Hunt of Edina; sister-in-law, Marlene Hunt of Le Center; 7 nieces and nephews; 16 great-nieces and nephews; caregiver and friend, Colleen Royle of Mankato;

Mary Jean is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Thomas J. Hunt.
