Milo Joseph Holey Jr., age 70 of Montgomery died at his home on Thursday, July 15, 2021. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 27 from 9am-11am at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery. Memorial Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11am. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
Milo was born on April 6, 1951 in Faribault to Milo and Helen (Brown) Holey, Sr. He was a 1970 graduate from Montgomery High School. Milo was united in marriage to Lois Flynn in March of 1977 at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery. He worked and retired from Montgomery High School as a custodian. Milo enjoyed playing bingo, family picnics, and watching football. Milo was a member of the Montgomery Ambulance and the Knights of Columbus.
Milo is survived by his wife, Lois Holey of Montgomery; children, John Holey of Shakopee, Mike (Jenny) Holey of Montgomery, Pat Holey of Montgomery; grandson, Brandon Holey; siblings, Betty (Jerome) Messner of Blaine, Jean (Dan) Wolfe of New Ulm, and Jo Ann (Brian) Shaughnessy of Lonsdale; nieces and nephews; and other family.
Milo is preceded in death by his parents; and stepfather, Ray Filipek.
