Nancy Decoux

Nancy DeCoux, 76, of Montgomery, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at St. Gertrudes Health and Rehab Center in Shakopee. Funeral services will be held 11am on Monday, March 12 at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery with Pastor Jason Pollington officiating, with visitation 1 hour prior beginning at 10am. Interment will be held at a later date.

Nancy was born on February 27, 1942 to Alfred and Helen (Freid) Gassman in New Prague. She graduated from St. Raphael's (Holy Redeemer) and Montgomery High School. Nancy was united in marriage to Richard DeCoux on June 2, 1962 at Most Holy Redeemer Church in Montgomery. She had worked for Munsingwear and Green Giant both in Montgomery, as a waitress at Elrays Caf� and Czech House in Montgomery. Nancy enjoyed camping, and was a caregiver to others.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Richard DeCoux of Montgomery; children, Corrine DeCoux of Le Center, Cathy (Dean) Stasney of Montgomery, and Ruth DeCoux of Montgomery; grandchildren, Elizabeth Giesen, Kristen Klaras, Coleman Klaras, Tadd Stasney, Jayden Stasney, and Anastasia Stasney; great-grandchildren, Jacob Klaras, and Peyton Giesen; siblings, Monerah Montgomery of St. Paul Park, Alfred (Shirley) Gassman Jr, of New Prague, and Susan Smith of Foley.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Richard Gassman, and Gerald Gassman.
