Olga H. McDonald, age 87, of Montgomery, passed away Friday, December 12, 2014 at Mala Strana Health Care Center in New Prague. Private family services and burial will be held.
Olga was born to Frank and Emily (Kalina) Holetz on December 13, 1926 in Lexington Township, Le Sueur County. Attended country school in Lexington Township and lived on the farm from 1952 to 1968 and then moved to Montgomery. She worked at Armor meat packing in South St. Paul, Le Sueur Foundry, Control Data in Plymouth, Heat & Glow in Montgomery, Green Giant and Mala Strana. She enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, grilling, flowers, wild life, birds, all nature and her family.
Olga is survived by children, Emily (Roger) Tuma of Montgomery, Glen (Cheryl) McDonald of Montgomery and Nick (Bobbie) McDonald of Montgomery; grandchildren, Jamie Tuma, Samantha
(Torfinn) Zempel, Tabitha McDonald and (Andrew Dunbar), Cody and Trevor McDonald; great-grandchildren, Gabriel and Jack Zempel; siblings, Virgina Hruska of Faribault and Milton (Lois) Holetz of Montgomery; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
