Patricia Mary Kewitsch

Patricia Mary Kewitsch, 72, of Le Center passed away peacefully after a long battle with kidney cancer and severe COPD on Monday, January 1, 2018. She was surrounded by her family.

Her funeral will be on Friday, January 5th at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Le Center with visitation at 10:30am, service at 11:00am. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Le Center at a later date.

Pat was born on September 3, 1945 to Fred and Delores (Hinze) Pischel. She was united in marriage to Allen Kewitsch on June 19, 1965 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Le Center. She worked as an administrative assistant at Winco and in the Theatre & Dance Dept. at Gustavus Adolphus College from where she retired after 20 years.

Pat was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to travel and was able to take many trips with her husband and children throughout the US. Pat & Al spent many winters in the warm Arizona sunshine after retirement with other friends from Le Center.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents and stepmother Charlotte Pischel. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Allen; son Paul (Gretchen) Kewitsch of Farmington, MN; daughters Nancy (Russ) Prososki of Lakeville, MN, and Christine (Alex) Reese of Oakdale, MN; six grandchildren Rachel and August Kewitsch, Lucas and Abigail Prososki, and Aiden and Nora Reese; step-sisters Karen (Denny) Denneson, Rita Ingersoll and Heidi (Mike) Plunkett all of California; sisters-in-law Marjorie Schmidt of Mankato, MN and Ardelle (John) Barten of North Mankato, MN.
