Patrick John Blaschko

Patrick John Blaschko, 79, of Le Center, passed away Friday, June 27, 2014 in Le Center. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 1, 2014, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Le Center. Mass of Christian burial will also be Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Le Center.
Patrick was born on January 31, 1935 in Cleveland to Alphonse and Catherine (Kane) Blaschko. Went to Le Center High School and was a truck driver in the Twin Cities. He enjoyed his dogs Misty and Molly, fishing, hunting and was an avid outdoorsman. He served in the US Navy on board the USS Missouri in the Korean War Era.
He is survived by long time special friend Joanne Schmeltzer of New Hope; his canine companion, Molly; many cousins, special cousins Mary Therese (Carl) Traxler-Orstad of Crystal and Ellen (Curt) Ericson of Mankato and many special friends.
Patrick is preceded in death by his parents.
Military honors will be provided by the Le Center area Honor Guard.
