Patsy Ruth Griffith

Patsy Ruth Griffith, 66, of Montgomery, died Monday, January 4, 2016 at her home in Montgomery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery with a Celebration of Life at 11 a.m.

Patsy was born on April 19, 1949 to Robert and Helen (O'Leary) Nelson in Fort Knox, Kentucky. She was a graduate of Elgin, Illinois High School, served in the United States Army and was united in marriage to Tony Griffith on April 21, 1969 in Illinois. She enjoyed gardening, reading and needle work.

Patsy is survived by her husband, Tony Griffith of Montgomery; sons, Anthony Robert Griffith, and Chad Anthony Carr Griffith; daughter-in-law, Jill; grandson, Devon; brother, Wayne Nelson; sister, Linda; half-brother, Mike Holman, and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
Military honors will be provided by the Montgomery Area Honor Guard.
