Paul Carl Ehmke Jr.

Paul Carl Ehmke Jr., 59, of Montgomery took his last breath on April 13, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. after a tough and brave battle with cancer. Paul's Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 17, 2015 at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Please bring your fondest memory and photos of Paul to share. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the NRA.

Paul was born in Minneapolis's Asbury Hospital on August 30, 1955 at 8:35 a.m. to Paul Carl Sr. and Ella Lorraine (Lingsweiler) Ehmke. He graduated from Montgomery High School. Paul was married to Kim Boreen on September 28, 1974; they were married 20 years.

He worked as a custodian and then later as an appraiser in the Assessors Office for Le Sueur County in Le Center. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his boys and entertaining his grandchildren. He enjoyed adding to his numerous collections.

Paul is survived by children, Chad Ehmke and his significant other Kim Cartwright, Jeff (Sabrina) Ehmke (Pickell), along with their children, Sidney, Evan, Shafer and Soren, and Mark Ehmke and his significant other April Hubert; brother-in-law, Frank Pflaum; his beloved dog, Girlie; along with many more loved family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Donna Pflaum and dog CoCo.

The family expresses their great appreciation to Hospice Advantage of Lakeville especially to Paul's caregivers, Eunie and Mary.
