Phyllis A. Mangan

Phyllis A. Mangan, age 89 of Le Center passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023 at Central Health Care in Le Center. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 a.m. all at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Le Center. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Le Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.

Phyllis was born on September 16, 1934 to John and Rose Hagert. She was united in marriage to William Mangan on August 4, 1959 in Frederic, Wisc. Phyllis worked alongside with her husband at Mangan’s Bakery in Le Center. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards, reading, working puzzles and bingo. She was a very dedicated parishioner of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and taught Sunday school for many years.

Phyllis is survived by her sons, Joel, and Colin Mangan both of Le Center; many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William Mangan; parents; brothers and sisters.
