Phyllis Hrdlicka

Phyllis Hrdlicka, 92 of Le Center, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Rivers Edge Hospital in St. Peter. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Le Center Funeral Home in Le Center. Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Le Center with visitation one hour prior at the church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Le Center.

Phyllis was born on February 28, 1922 in Belle Plaine to Michael Sr. and Elizabeth (Gliczinski) Plonski. She was united in marriage to Clement J. Hrdlicka on April 2, 1940 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Lexington. She worked for Farmer Seed and Nursery and Spors in Le Center.

She is survived by children; Joyce Zelenka of St. Peter, David Hrdlicka of Peoria, AZ., Jerry (Linda) Hrdlicka of Rogers, and Nancy (Ken) Franek of New Prague; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Marge Freier of Minneapolis, Theresa Spence of Minneapolis, and Larry Plonski of Belle Plaine.

Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clement Hrdlicka; infant daughter and grandson, Jeremy Franek; brothers Michael Plonski, Joe Plonski, John Plonski; sister, Marion Blaha and Betty Manjoni.
