Richard “Dick” Francis Gregor, age 82, of Montgomery passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021 at Central Health Care in Le Center. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 29, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery at noon with visitation starting at 9:30am.

Richard was born on April 30, 1939 in Faribault to Mary (Kotek) and Ambrose Gregor. He was united in marriage to Marge Grundhoffer on December 26, 1964 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Richard was a graduate of Montgomery High School and attended the University of Minnesota. Richard was drafted into the United States Army. He worked at Green Giant in Montgomery for 38 years. During his retirement he worked at Dons Foods in New Prague. He was a devout Catholic and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Richard enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards, spending time with his grandchildren, family vacations and fishing trips up north. He had an impressive display of fishing and hunting trophies. Richard was a huge supporting fan of all Montgomery-Lonsdale sports and even followed after his children graduated. He was and an avid listener of KCHK and enjoyed watching the Minnesota Twins, Gophers, Vikings, and Lynx.

Richard is survived by his wife, Marge Gregor of Montgomery; children Rick (Lori) Gregor of Prior Lake, Julie (Adam) Stone of Woodbury, Todd (Michele) Gregor of Waconia, Brad (Debbie) Gregor of New Prague, Jodi (Phil) Werner of New Prague, Mark (Nikki) Gregor of Lonsdale, Kari (Jeff) Rosival of Eagle Lake; siblings, Cletus (Jean) Gregor of Kilkenny, Dale (Susan) Gregor of Land O Lakes, Florida; grandchildren, Jenna Gregor and Maddie (Luke) Zahm, Carter, Ryan, and Jon Stone, Abbey and Jacob Gregor, Kaleb, Justin, and Benett Gregor, Kassie, Mariah, Belle, and Sam Werner, Morgan and Dylan Gregor, Kale and Jada Rosival; great-grandchildren, Eli Werner, and Emery Jaworski.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Darryll Gregor, James Gregor, Duane Gregor; and granddaughter, Morgan Mary Gregor.
