Robert 'Bob' Joseph Stocker

Robert “Bob” Joseph Stocker, age 65 of Cleveland, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at his home. Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 24 from 10am to 1pm at the American Legion in Le Center. Masks will be required. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.

Robert was born on February 9, 1956 in Mankato to Hilary and Mary Jo (Krenik) Stocker. He was a graduate of Le Center High School and South Central in North Mankato in Ag. Mechanics. Robert was married to Patricia Rohlfing on August 10, 1979 and they later divorced. Robert was remarried on June 8, 2007 to Diane Friedrichs at Gustavus Adolphus College Arboretum. Robert was a member of the SAL Post 207 in Cleveland and enjoyed grilling, fishing, gardening, feeding the birds, and spending time with his grandkids.

Robert is survived by his wife, Diane Stocker of Cleveland; children, Theresa (Jeff) Sons of Norwood, Becky (Dave) Hulke of Courtland, Katie (Paul) Fossen of Savage, and Laura (Blake) Thompson of Mankato; step-daughters, Jen (Troy) Benson of Waseca, and Amanda (Tom) Marzinske of North Mankato; grandchildren, Madalyn and Owen Sons, Lucas and Addison Hulke, Olivia and Grace Fossen, Aubree and Bryce Thompson, Halle, Amiyah and Eleanor Benson, and Kayden and Logan Marzinske; his mother, Mary Jo Stocker of St. Peter; siblings, John (Jeanie) Stocker of Le Center, Betty (Mark) Herberg of St. Peter, Dianne (George) Dickinson of Pine Island, Rosemary (Brian) Rynda of Montgomery, Hilary (Sandy) Stocker of Faribault, Sylvester (Jami) Stocker of St. Cloud, FL., Susan Uphoff of Herman, and Joan (Mark) Lubeck of Le Center; brother-in-law, John Barklow of Kasota; former wife, Patricia Stocker of Cleveland; many nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his father, Hilary Stocker, Sr.; sister, Anna Mae Barklow; brothers-in-law, Collin Burkhart and Jon Uphoff; grandparents; Rose and Alois Krenik and Ceil and Joseph Stocker.
