Robert 'Bob' Krenik

Robert “Bob” Krenik, 89, of Cleveland passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at his home in rural Cleveland. At his request, there will be no funeral services. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery near Cleveland at a later date.

Bob was born November 1, 1929 in Cleveland to Wencle “Jim” and Margaret (Malecha) Krenik. He graduated from Cleveland High School and served in the United States Army during the Korean War as a Cryptographer. Bob was united in marriage to Irene Anderson on October 19, 1957 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Mankato. Bob and Irene lived in Mankato until they took over the family farm near Cleveland. Together they farmed for over 50 years.

Bob is survived by his children, John (Gloria) of Midland, Texas, William (Amorn) of Garland, Texas, Mary (Larry) Aszmann of Prior Lake, Amy of Cleveland and Andy of Mankato; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Bob is preceded in death by his wife, Irene; and an infant daughter, Jeanne.
