Robert E. "Bob" Zoubek, Sr.,

Robert E. "Bob" Zoubek, Sr., age 77 of Montgomery, died Sunday, February 5, 2017 at the Mala Strana Heath Center in New Prague. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 11 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery. Fr. Victor Valencia will officiate. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, February 10 at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery, and will continue at the funeral home one hour prior to Mass on Saturday. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery.

Bob was born on May 26, 1939 to Frank and Rose (Koktavy) Zoubek in Montgomery. He graduated from Montgomery High School. Following high school he joined the United States Army Reserves. He married Rose Mary Mader on June 4, 1960 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery. Bob was a member of the American Legion, the Holstein Association, and DHIA. He enjoyed playing the concertina, listening to old time music and playing cards every Sunday night with his friends. He had a great passion for his farm and his cows.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Rose Mary Zoubek;
children, Robert A. "Bob" Zoubek, Jr. of Montgomery,
Gerald Zoubek of Montgomery,
Steve (Lisa) Zoubek of Montgomery,
and Susan (Dave) Prchal of Montgomery;
grandchildren, Matthew (Ashley) Zoubek, Garret Zoubek, Brandon Skluzacek,
Chelsey Skluzacek, and Calista Zoubek.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Jean Ann (Richard) Bisek.
