Robert James Jakes, Sr., age 72, of Montgomery passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Northfield Hospital. Services are at a later date.
Robert was born on December 10, 1948 in St. Peter to James and Adeline (Kuzel) Jakes.

Robert is survived by his children, Jim (Lisa) Jakes of Montgomery, Sheila (Mary) Jakes of Faribault, and Kimberly Jakes (Jeremy) of Le Center; several grand and great-grandchildren; siblings, Marvin Jakes Sr. of Montgomery and Dorothy Spoors of Faribault. He enjoyed farming and his German Shepherd dogs.

Robert is preceded in death by his son, Robert Jr., and parents.
