Ronald John Smisek

Ronald John Smisek, age 68 of Montgomery died unexpectedly on June 12, 2022. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 16 from 8:30- 11:30 am at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. Prayer service will follow at 11:30 also at the funeral home. Interment will be held in St. John Catholic Cemetery in Montgomery.

Ron was born on January 24, 1954 in St. Peter to Francis and Ione (Wondra). He was a graduate from Le Center High School in 1972. Ron was united in marriage to Jeanne Lingsweiler on January 18, 1975 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery. He worked at Harvester, WINCO and retired at the age of 62 from the City of Montgomery with over ten years of service. Ron enjoyed music, camping, motorcycling, tinkering, cruising, gardening, visiting friends at Lake Front Bar Grill in Lexington, being with family and he gave his grandsons his everything.

Ron is survived by his wife, Jeanne Smisek; daughter, Brenda (Corey) Kaderlik; grandsons, Logan Kaderlik and Alex Kaderlik.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents; son, Ronald Scott Smisek; brother, Allan Smisek; and several other loved ones.
