Ruth Annette Le Brun

Ruth Annette Le Brun, age 82, of Montgomery, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at her home. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25 from 4pm to 8pm at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, October 26 at 10:30am at St. Canice Catholic Church in Kilkenny with visitation one hour prior at the church. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Kilkenny.

Ruth was born on May 4, 1937 in Cleveland to Aloysius (A.J.) and Gertrude (Blaschko) Genelin. She was a graduate of Cleveland High School. Ruth was united in marriage to De Lano Le Brun on June 14, 1955 at the Church of Nativity in Cleveland. She worked as a nursing assistant at Central Health Care in Le Center for 16 years, hotel clerk at Best Western Galaxy Inn in Faribault for 16 years, and as a home daycare provider for 30 years. Ruth was a member of the Rosary Society at St. Canice Catholic Church, Extension- Kilkenny Katies, and a leader for 4H.

Ruth is survived by her children, Kathleen (Dale) Hamele of Kilkenny, (Eve) Le Brun of Montgomery, Deborah Le Brun of St. Cloud, John (Kim) Le Brun of Waterville, Tammy (Dale) Ross of Hutchinson, Theresa (Steve) Trcka of Lonsdale, Joseph (Lisa) Le Brun of Lonsdale, and Laura Johnson of Montgomery; 28 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jim (Pat) Genelin of Tomahawk, WI., Ted (Joan) Genelin of North Mankato, and Trudy Eisenhauer of St. Peter.

Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, De Lano Le Brun; sons, Steven and Thomas Le Brun; parents; sisters and brothers-in-laws, Marge (Jim) Baker, La Vonne (Willie) Goettl, Beverly (Al) Juliar, and Jerry (Ellen) Le Brun; parent-in-laws, George and Laura (Sack) Le Brun.
