Sandra Judith Goettl

Sandra Judith Goettl, 77 of Le Center, died on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 in Le Center. Visitation will be on Monday, December 28, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Le Center Funeral Home in Le Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Le Center with Father Chris Shofner officiating. Visitation one hour prior will be at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Le Center.

Sandra was born on August 8, 1938 in Mankato to Hadley and LaVerne (Klingle) Smith. Sandra was a 1957 graduate of Mankato High School. Sandra was united in marriage to Roger Frank Goettl on June 4, 1957 in Mankato.

Sandra was an American Legion Auxiliary member and also a member of the St. Mary's CCW. She enjoyed lots of reading, cooking and playing bingo.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Roger Goettl of Le Center; children, Scott (Sue) Goettl of Burnsville, Cathy (Steve) Thielbar of Faribault, Greg (Teresa) Goettl of Le Center, Lisa (Chuck) Holicky of Kilkenny, and Tammy Goettl of Eagan; 11 grandchildren; 9-1/2 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sue Smith of Henderson, NV, 1 niece, and 1 nephew, many other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by parents, step-father, George Washburn, and brother, Dale Smith.
