Sylvester L. (Syl) Schloesser

Sylvester L. (Syl) Schloesser, age 85, died Sunday, June 14, 2015, in the care of his daughter in Georgia. Sylvester was born on November 25, 1929 in Le Center to John A. and Mary C. Schloesser.

He was preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his children, the former Phyllis Flowers Schloesser; his wife, Marilyn Hill Schloesser; a daughter, Roxanne Bruggeman (Asheville, NC); a granddaughter, Sarah Bruggeman; two brothers, Clarence "Butch" Schloesser and Herbert Schloesser.

He is survived by his son, Jon Schloesser (Kathy) of Lake Worth, FL; his daughter Jan Beum (Frank) of Suwanee, GA; brothers Alvin (Marge) and Richard (Colleen); sisters Bernadine Singer (Ray), Bernadette Engel, Helen Olson (Luverne) and Evelyn Tambornino (Steve) and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are private with burial at St. Henry's Cemetery.
