Terry Krenik

Terry Krenik, age 64, of Le Center, passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at his home after a long courageous battle with cancer. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 23 from 3pm to 7pm at the Le Center Funeral Home in Le Center with a KC service concluding the visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 24 at 10am at St. Marys Catholic Church with visitation 1 hour prior at the church. Interment will be held in the Calvary Cemetery in Le Center. Military Honors will be provided by the Le Center area Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Le Sueur County Relay for Life or the American Cancer Society.

Terry was born on July 18, 1954 in St. Peter to Norbert and Teresa (Schumacher) Krenik. He attended Holy Redeemer Catholic School and was a graduate of Le Center High School. Terry served in the United States Marines. Terry was united in marriage to Rose Meyer on April 29, 1978 at the Church of the Nativity in Cleveland. Terry was a dairy farmer on the family farm and also was a truck driver.

Terry was a member of the KCs and was a youth wrestling coach. He enjoyed farming, truck driving, fishing, hunting, a wrestling enthusiast, playing with his grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, visiting with friends and music.

Terry is survived by his wife, Rose Krenik of Le Center; parents, Norby (Teresa) Krenik of Le Center; children, Eric (Audrey) Krenik of Le Center, Luke (Nicole) Krenik of Le Sueur, Rachel (Kyle) Short of Elysian, and Dan Krenik of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Kyle, Cori and Piper Krenik; Elysia and Scott Krenik; Carter, and Reese and Bill Short; siblings, Kathy (Mike) Minkler, Dave (Mary) Krenik, Bette Traxler, Fr. Mike Krenik, Brian (Belinda) Krenik, Andy (Karen) Krenik, and Norby (Carolyn) Krenik; many nieces and nephews.

Terry is preceded in death by brother, Bill Krenik.
