Theresa Mary Hruby

Theresa Mary Hruby, age 87 of Montgomery, died Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at her home in Montgomery. Visitation will be on Sunday, September 11, 2016 from 4pm to 8pm at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 10:30 am. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery with visitation one hour prior at Schoenbauer Funeral Home. Father George Grafsky will officiate. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery.

Theresa was born on November 7, 1928 in Derrynane Township in Le Sueur County to Edward and Polygia (Winarski) Widmer. She was united in marriage to Edward M. Hruby "Tiny" on February 10, 1948 at St. Henry Church in St. Henry. She worked on the farm until it was sold and then worked various other jobs including Green Giant and Little Six. She enjoyed gardening, canning, dairy farming, and was a very hard and dedicated worker.

Theresa is survived by her children, Theresa Brownlee of Montgomery, Edward J. (Carol) Hruby of New Prague, Bernie Hruby of Arvonia, Virginia, and David Hruby of Montgomery; grandchildren, Heather Brownlee and Jimmy (Melissa) Brownlee, and Jenny and Nicole Hruby; 2 great-grandchildren, Mason and Jordyn Brownlee; sister-in-law, Theresa Widmer of Le Center.

She is preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, Andrew Klinkhammer; 2nd husband, Edward M. Hruby "Tiny"; siblings, Edward Widmer, Bernard Widmer, and Mary Ann Douda.
