Thomas George Jindra

Thomas George Jindra, age 56, passed away at his home on Friday, May 22nd, 2020. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 26th from 4 to 7pm at St. Canice Catholic Church in Kilkenny. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 27th at 10 am with visitation an hour prior. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Kilkenny, MN.

Tom was born on August 11th, 1963 in Northfield, MN to George and Marian (Holey) Jindra. He graduated from Le Center High School and worked various jobs before becoming a full-time farmer. Tom was united in marriage to Lori Haefner on October 9th, 1987 at St. Canice Catholic Church in Kilkenny, MN.

Tom enjoyed farming, camping, going on annual vacations, dancing and watching bands perform and visiting with friends. You might have caught him any given day with a cigar in his mouth, waving from the driver seat of his pickup. He always had a good story to tell and knew how to make people smile.

Tom is survived by his wife, Lori Jindra of Le Center; children, Christopher Jindra of Le Center, Michael (Melinda Horejsi) Jindra of Montgomery, Caitlin (Tommy Witte) Jindra of Le Center; brother, John Jindra of Le Center; sisters-in-law, Marilyn (Jim) Holicky of Le Center, JoAnn (Steve) Kortuem of Madison Lake; brothers-in-law, Chuck Haefner of Waseca, Bernie (Claranita) Haefner of Houston Texas; and many nieces and nephews

Tom is preceded in death by his parents, George and Marian Jindra; brother, George Jindra; grandparents, Ray and Ann Holey, Clem and Anna Haefner; and nephew, Joshua Neubauer.
