Tim “Peach” Simonette, age 63, of Le Center passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Wednesday, April 1, 2020. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 10 at 10 am with visitation prior at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Le Center.

Tim was born on December 19, 1956, to LeRoy and Charlotte (Krenik) Simonette. Tim was a graduate of Le Center High School. After graduation he worked as a heavy equipment operator. Due to his illness, Tim took an early retirement, spending the summer months at The Hideout Resort in Black Duck MN where he continued “Living the dream”. This is where he met Jamie Arp who along with his wife Angie and children, quickly became his second family. Tim was a generous man, avid fisherman, talented cook and gardener and beloved son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and great uncle.

Tim was blessed with many friends, including close friends, Ron and Debbie Kopet, Frank Muse, Jamie Arp (my brother from another mother) and family, and Greg and Lori Rother.

Tim is survived by his mother, Charlotte Simonette, siblings, John (Rhonda) Simonette of Waseca, Pat (Patti) Simonette of Le Center, Jim (Pam) Simonette of Cleveland, Mary Jane (Jeff) Bruns of Waterville, Tom Simonette of Le Center, Andy Simonette of Le Center, Jerry (Kelly) Simonette of North Carolina, Marty (Christina) Simonette of Madison Lake; nieces and nephews, Tina (Brock) Mader and their children, Ethan and Riley; Bobby (Liana) Simonette and their children, Lyla and Willa; Cody and Savannah Simonette; Ryan (Emily) Simonette and their children, Greyson, Blake and Landon; Erin (Mike) Rybicki and their child, Brayden; Cassandra Simonette; Amy and (Jon) Buker and their children, Jase and Aubree; Matt Hoppe; Josh (Brianna) Bruns and their child, Jayde; Mandy (Luke) Randt and their child, Brandon; Charley, Jordan and Sami Simonette; Ben, Zach and Eli Simonette; Courtney, Luke, Drew and Noelle Simonette.

Tim fought a courageous nine-year battle with cancer. He will always be remembered for his words of endearment “I Love Ya and I Like Ya”.

Tim is preceded in death by his father LeRoy Simonette and nephew Nicholas Simonette.
