Troy D. Lancaster

Troy Duane Lancaster, age 45, of Montgomery passed away on August 8, 2014. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 13,, 2014 from 4-8 PM at Schoenbauer Funeral home in Montgomery. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with a meal to follow at The Palace Bar & Grill in Montgomery.
Troy was born August 15, 1968 to Jerry and Mary Ann (Busse) Lancaster in St. Paul. He graduated from Amboy-Good Thunder High School in 1986 and enjoyed his career as owner of LT Drywall in Montgomery. Troy also worked with Midwest Monitoring & Surveillance. When he was not on a job site he could usually be found helping anyone who called upon him to do so.
In his free time he enjoyed playing pool, hunting, playing cards, fishing, demolition derby, playing golf and camping. Troy was a generous man with an infectious laugh who simply loved to be with his family and friends.
He is survived by his significant other, Charlene Quist; sons, Trevor (Danielle) Lancaster, Samuel Lancaster; daughters, Mary and Rose Lancaster; grandson Carson Lancaster; mother, Mary Ann Lancaster; brothers, Gene (Melissa) Lancaster, Mark (Tricia) Lancaster, Dave (Debi) Hein and Lance (Brenda) Lancaster; sisters, Stacy (Frank) Lancaster, Mary Helen (Chad) Nordstrom and Brenda (Louis) Riley; and many nieces and nephews.
Troy is preceded in death by his father; sister, Melinda Lancaster in infancy; granddaughter, Quinn Lancaster in infancy; and grandparents, Wilbur and Eula Mae Lancaster and Walter and Helen Busse.
The family would appreciate donations to help cover expenses in lieu of flowers.
