Virginia 'Ginny' Thomas

Virginia "Ginny" Thomas, age 83 of Montgomery, died Monday, January 11, 2016 at Mala Strana Health Care in New Prague. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with visitation one hour prior at the church. Burial will be at St. Scholastica Cemetery in Heidelberg.

Ginny was born on January 15, 1932 in Hopkins to Leon and Helen Moes. She was a graduate of Hopkins High School and also went to the U of M. Ginny was united in marriage to Frank Thomas on August 22, 1959 in Hopkins.

Ginny is survived by her husband, Frank Thomas of Montgomery; children, Jeannine Mogan of Chanhassen, Michael Thomas of Duluth, Colleen (Michael) Traxler of New Prague, and Daniel (Sharon) Thomas of Burnsville; grandchildren, Kyle Mogan, Melissa Vining, John Traxler, Sally Traxler, Tommy Traxler, and Matthew Thomas.

Ginny is preceded in death by her parents.
