Willard Pribyl, 87, of Montgomery, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2013 in Montgomery. Visitation will be Saturday, December 7, 2013 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery with a memorial service at 11 a.m. also at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. Private family burial at a later date.
Willard was born on April 27, 1926 in Montgomery to Frank and Mary (Holetz) Pribyl. He graduated from Montgomery High School in 1944. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and then went to Autobody Repair school for 2 years. Willard was united in marriage to Marcelline Carpentier (Pribyl) on August 27, 1949. He owned and operated Pribyl Body Shop in Montgomery for 56 years. He enjoyed farming on the family hobby farm since the late 1970's.
He is survived by wife, Marcelline; children, Susan (Phil) Meyer of New Prague, Michael Pribyl of Montgomery, Renee Pribyl of Montgomery, Garry Pribyl of Montgomery and Steven Pribyl of Montgomery; grandchildren, Chris (Janette), Matt (Vicki) and Jon Meyer, Brian Pribyl, Holly Pribyl, Aimee (Michael) Davison and Allison Stoltz; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Breckin Meyer and Logan Davison; and sister Shirley Juni of Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Gordon Pribyl.
Military honors provided by the Montgomery area Veterans.
