William 'Bill' Pelowski

William "Bill" Pelowski, age 80 of Montgomery, died Thursday, May 5, 2016 at the Mala Strana Rehabilitation Center in New Prague. Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on Wednesday, May 11. Fr. Victor Valencia will officiate. Visitation will be one hour and a half prior to service time at the church on Wednesday. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Lexington. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.

Bill was born on April 12, 1936 to John and Mary (Miska) Pelowski in Lexington. He graduated in 1954 from McKinley High School in Le Center. Bill was united in marriage to Hedi Chlan on August 2, 1975 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery. He worked construction for various construction companies throughout the years. Bill enjoyed attending horse races and Twins games and hunting and fishing in his young years.

Bill is survived by his wife, Hedi of Montgomery; sons, Brian (Mia) Pelowski of New York, Jeff Pelowski of Montgomery, and Kevin Pelowski of Montgomery; grandson, Drew Pelowski; sister-in-law, Phyllis Pelowski of Montgomery; and many nieces and nephews.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Tony (Rosie) Pelowski, Mary Ann (Butch) Schanus, and John Pelowski.
